Preparing for Your First Appointment
From the time you contact our office to begin counseling services, our goal is to help you feel as comfortable as possible.
The first step is for you to provide us with some basic information, including your name, date of birth, contact information, your availability and whether you would like to use insurance to pay for your services. We will also ask you to tell us briefly about what you would like to work on.
With that information, we can begin the registration process and work on connecting you with the therapist that is best for you.
You will be provided a unique link to access our online client portal, which will allow you to enter your demographic and payment information in a convenient and secure manner. You will also be asked to sign consents electronically and complete some initial intake forms.
Once you have completed the online registration process, we will do a courtesy check of your insurance benefits if you are using them, and will call you to review coverage and the amounts that will be your responsibility.
Your therapist will then contact you to set up your first appointment.
