Grace Hanson, LMHC
Grace is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Indiana. She meets primarily with children, teens, and young adults who are experiencing symptoms of Autism, ADHD, Borderline Personality, and Trauma. She utilizes a blend of dialectical behavior and cognitive therapy techniques, along with play therapy approaches. She incorporates Christian beliefs into her approach if clients desire. Her clients have said that she is easy to talk to and someone that holds them accountable to meeting their goals and gives them gentle pushes when needed.
She considers therapy a success whenever a client feels they are starting to think or do things differently, even if it is only the smallest helpful change. She believes helping clients meet their goals through the opportunity to learn and practice new skills is best accomplished in a supportive and encouraging therapeutic environment.
