Madison Wilson, Student Intern
Madison Wilson is a pre-licensed student intern who is currently working towards her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Grace College & Theological Seminary. She is under the supervision of Nicole Holland, LCSW. She works primarily with adolescents and young adults who are experiencing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, and ADHD. She utilizes both Adlerian and psychodynamic therapeutic approaches and can be described as guiding in nature. She works with empathy and understanding to aid clients in quickly becoming comfortable with the therapeutic process.
She considers therapy a success when clients are able to see growth within themselves – whether that is building a coping toolbox or having insight into their thought processes or feelings. She values taking a holistic view of her clients and wants to take the time to understand all the different aspects of each client individually and honoring whatever path they may be walking on when they come into therapy.
